Sometimes these efforts seek to sensationalise, and in some perverse way, celebrate, these sick (insert F word; C word) individuals, with the author being - “America’s principle chronicler of its greatest psychopathic killers.” Greatest killers - that’s a problematic, dubious phrase.
It amounts to a lot of stuff you don’t really want to give headspace to, I think.
