Not a city you’d want to linger in (only as a means of getting to Pompeii, Herculaneum & environs). A definite atmos-fear of menace. Earthquake relief even goes through these guys. However, the Naples Archaeological Museum is truly one of the wonders of the world.

What’s interesting is that organised Crime usually spawns as a means of self defense in most countries. For example most organised crime in the US was a method of people of different ethnic persuasion seeking justice in a country where they had no access if not open hostility and antipathy from local law enforcement. Its interesting to see where a blind eye can lead to considering there is an innate differentiation between the north and south of Italy

Caesar wtf are you talking about??? Napoli is some of the best Italy has to offer.. The people will give you the shirt off their back. The food is the best in the whole country. Napoli is the heart of Italy.
I’ve never encountered people are welcoming as Napoli. Anyone reading, please disregard Caesars comment and visit Napoli, it’s truly an incredible place.
