  I’m so, so, sorry but I made a mistake.

  In my previous post of this series, book 2 was ACTUALLY narrated by Saul Reichlin. I replaced it with the George Guidall version as I intended.

  I like George better. :)

  Like I’ve said before…I’m awesome, but not perfect. :D

  Surely Dallis24 you are awesome. Enjoyed most of you shares. Sad to say that Nordic detective fiction is the most overrated oeuvre by any serious detective story standards. To start with, crime itself is a social issue, however, its not a wellspring for moralizing and for pushing certain political agendas that most nordic writers share. That’s not deep but rather shallow social consciousness. Likewise, George Guidall is the most overrated narrator in English; he gulps up words; he mumbles, murmurs, whispers, as though reading to himself of which he is obsessed most.

  So your evaluation of George Guidall overrides and supersedes almost everyone else’s. The fact that he is one of the most celebrated and popular narrator in the English language counts for nothing with you.

  Your definitive absolutes over the narrator and Nordic detective fiction being the most overrated ‘by any serious detective story standards’ marks you out as egocentric, self obsessed, opinionated and ill-informed.

  A little humility would do you wonders.

  Many thanks. This is a great series (dark little heavy and in places brutal or should i say raw)but i really enjoyed this series.
