As Reacher explores his father’s life, and as the Canadians face lethal dangers, strands of different stories begin to merge. Then Reacher makes a shocking discovery: The present can be tough, but the past can be tense . . . and deadly.

Nooooooo! not Scott fing Brick. Thanks for the upload though. The uk version has Jeff Harding narrating for those like myself who can’t stand the Brickster

I would much prefer Jeff Harding as well, but… this is what I came up with. Scott Brick can ruin a reasonably good book. Brick adds 23 minutes to the book by speaking so awfully slow. Oh well.

Dick Hill had always read the Reacher books in the past from my experience, anyone else is like someone silly like Tom Cruise playing Reacher! I appreciate the upload though!

I just read that Dick Hill has retired from narrating audiobooks. Maybe this is the reason they are using Scott Brick

It may be that Dick Hill is retiring. Dick Hill is the narrator for the US releases of the series and Jeff Harding is the narrator for the UK releases.

There will not be any other “Reacher” books read by Dick Hill as he has retired. Scott Brick has been signed up to read the next 4 novels. Such a shame as to me Reacher is Hill and Hill is Reacher. They just don’t have the same impact when read by someone else. Ah well, 22 books, its been a good run.

I’m a little surprised there’s such strong dislike for Scott Brick. As a big fan of the Duneverse, I always liked his performances. I thought his Erasmus was excellent.
I guess you guys aren’t too big on all of Clive Cusslers books either? He does a lot of those narrations as well.
To each his own though, I was never really a fan of Michael Pritchard or Connor O’Brien.

Many thanks, but what to do, love Lee Child (Reacher Series)and hate listening to Scott Brick.
So much so that I have refused to listen to any book that he narrates.
George Guidall,Jeff Harding and Dick Hill are heaven when it comes to listening to a good book.
Well I know that i am going to kick myself but i going to give it a try, god help me because S Brick won´t.

Maybe the Brick is just narrating for a certain part of the global market?
Amazon’s audiobook clips are read by Jeff Harding, which suggests that there’s another release coming soon, which might be more suitable for those of us who think that Brick reading Reacher is about as much use as a bass ukulele in a rock band.

Agree Scott Brick is the worst ever. Has spoiled the last Reacher novels. It took me an eternity to listen to the Passage trilogy because of his tone and pace. He reads like he is about to jump off a bridge

Well I really did try but did not last long.
This is not the Jack Reacher I know. I am not out to give Scott Brick a bashing but really has he even listened to a Dick Hill narration of a Jack Reacher novel?
I agree with Adiem11 and Goomer that Jeff Harding who is the narrator for the UK releases would be much better.
So I am leaving Jack for now and will search for UK version with Jeff Harding.
